ENFORCEMENT CHECK SHOWS MOST ANGLERS OBEYING THE RULES

The Ministry of Natural Resources laid 12 charges and issued 20 warnings recently at a fish and game check station in Durham Region.

On June 14, 2009, Aurora District conservation officers, with the help of officers from Bancroft District and the ministry’s canine unit, stopped and inspected 125 vehicles on Highway 35. Officers checked for compliance with the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act and the Ontario Fishery Regulations.
