2009-06-06 Windsor - Ambassador Bridge Angler Check

CHECK STATION AT AMBASSADOR BRIDGE FINDS MOST ANGLERS IN COMPLIANCE

Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officers and the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency conducted checks of 31 anglers at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor on June 6 and laid three charges.

Violations included:

Transporting fish so that species and numbers could not be identified
Transporting illegally possessed fish, and
For possessing fish out of season.

The operation was carried out with the co-operation of staff from the Ambassador Bridge Authority.
