JOINT ROAD CHECK FINDS MOST ANGLERS OBEYING RULES

The Ministry of Natural Resources laid two charges and issued seven warnings while conducting an enforcement road check on Highway 516, near Sioux Lookout, on May 18, Victoria Day.

Conservation officers from Sioux Lookout District checked 99 individuals for compliance with the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act and the Ontario Fisheries Regulations.

The joint road check station was conducted with Sioux Lookout District Ontario Provincial Police.
