Welcome to the OCOA Web Site

The Ontario Conservation Officers Association is a non-profit Association of active and retired Ontario Conservation Officers and other natural resources law enforcement officers.

We mourn the sudden passing of Conservation Officer Kirk Silver on April 2, 2013.

CO Kirk Silver

Kirk served the MNR with pride as a dedicated and caring conservation officer. He was a member of the OCOA executive and an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Kirk had a true passion for the outdoors. He was a skilled fisherman and excellent hunter. The true light of his life was his family, especially his wife and sons who gave his life its meaning. He will be missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
